Rate 300 is for industrial customers who consume up to 600,000 m3 of natural gas each day (contract demand). This service offers customers the flexibility to match daily natural gas supply to consumption at the plant.
Customers are required to have automatic meter reading, are responsible for daily nomination of supply, and are responsible for managing differences between their daily natural gas nominations and consumption at the plant. Customers who contract for Rate 300 distribution services can contract for a companion storage service, Rate 315 and Rate 316.
These customers typically use natural gas for power generation. Rate 300 customers are required to sign a distribution service contract/gas delivery agreement with Enbridge Gas.
