Energy assessments and meters incentives

Get incentives to help offset the cost of identifying and measuring energy-saving opportunities. Incentives* are up to 50 percent of eligible costs to the maximum listed below and can be used for energy audits, steam trap audits, or meters.

Eligible energy audits include HVAC audits, controls audits, thermal surveys, facility air-balances, benchmarking activities, and equipment upgrade analyses. Meters can be for measuring natural gas, steam, or hot water.

* Commercial Energy Assessments and Meters: Contact Enbridge Gas to confirm your eligibility. All Energy assessments and meter projects must be pre-approved by Enbridge Gas to qualify for incentives. Incentives are only available to Enbridge Gas Inc. customers with at least 100,000 m3 in annual natural gas consumption in the previous year. Incentives cannot exceed the lesser of 50 percent of eligible costs or the maximum amount determined by the customer’s annual natural gas consumption for the address where the opportunity identification is taking place. Only one opportunity identification incentive is available per address tied to an Enbridge Gas account. Customer applicants and Business Partners are limited to a maximum of five opportunity identification projects that are not linked to a completed Custom Retrofit project per year.
