It’s exciting for all of us—we are welcoming Dominion Energy Utah, Idaho and Wyoming to Enbridge, who will now do business locally as Enbridge Gas.
In September 2023, Enbridge Inc. announced a plan to purchase three U.S.-based natural gas utilities, which collectively provide natural gas service to approximately three million customers in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, North Carolina and Ohio.
With Utah, Wyoming and Idaho joining us, tomorrow is on!
Expanding the Enbridge Gas utility business to include Utah, Wyoming and Idaho is an opportunity to leverage each company’s strengths to continue to deliver what’s important to our combined 6.3 million customers—the safe and reliable delivery of affordable energy, and a focus on innovation to contribute to a sustainable future.
I want to assure customers that we share a commitment to the safe delivery of reliable, affordable natural gas to residents and businesses, keeping homes warm and businesses operating competitively.
Our companies have been leaders in delivering exceptional energy value for consumers through a focus on safety, reliability of service and operational excellence.
That will continue.
Some changes will occur over time, such as the logo on buildings, employee uniforms and ID badges, service vehicles and customer bills. We’ll be sure to provide plenty of advance notice and information about any planned changes.
Our goal is to make the transition as easy and seamless as possible for customers.
