Demand for natural gas continues to grow in the Triangle and surrounding areas. To meet customer growth, Enbridge Gas will install a 45-mile natural gas pipeline from Eden to Roxboro. While the majority of construction would take place in 2026, Enbridge Gas may begin construction of an 8-mile section in 2025. This system reliability project will ensure the utility can meet demand while ensuring the safety and integrity of its pipeline system in compliance with regulations. Enbridge Gas anticipates having the new pipeline in service by the end of 2027.
