Project update

Thank you for your interest in the Dundalk Reinforcement Project. The project is currently pending until further notice.

The proposed Dundalk Reinforcement Project in the Town of Mono involves the construction of a new 8-inch steel natural gas pipeline that will parallel existing natural gas infrastructure within a road right-of-way.

The preferred proposed route will be approximately 4.5 km and commence on Highway 10, approximately 1.5 km north of County Rd. 10. It will travel north along Highway 10 to the inlet of a new distribution station that will need to be constructed in the vicinity of the Side Road 20 and Highway 10 intersection. Four route alternatives are also proposed.

Regulatory approval from the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is required prior to construction. A Leave to Construct (LTC) application will be filed with the OEB in the Fall of 2023. If approved, construction may begin in Summer 2024.
