During the winter heating season, special assistance is available to eligible residential customers to help avoid a shutoff or restore gas service.

The special reconnect order (SRO) is a program available for eligible customers who have fallen behind on their payments, including those who have been disconnected or are pending disconnection for non-payment.

The SRO is available from Oct. 14, 2024 through Apr. 18, 2025.

All eligible residential customers, regardless of income, may avoid a shutoff or restore gas service once during the heating season between Oct. 14, 2024 and Apr. 18, 2025, by paying the lesser of:

of your gas bill.

The past-due payments
if you are on a special payment plan.

$175 one-time payment.

A customer with multiple residential accounts who wishes to utilize the winter reconnect order to maintain or reconnect service may do so only at the property where the customer resides.

If service has been disconnected, a reconnect fee of $33, plus applicable taxes, will be billed to the account. Customers will be enrolled automatically in the One-Ninth Payment Plan when using the Winter Reconnection Order to help pay off any additional past-due balance. Customers may select a different plan by calling Enbridge Gas Ohio.

Accounts with a history of unauthorized usage, non-sufficient funds (NSF), or other fraud are not eligible for this offer.

If you recently made your $175 payment and want to check the status, please consider MYA, our customer-self-service portal. The Winter Reconnect season is our busiest time of the year and you may have to spend a considerable amount of time waiting on hold.

If you paid through an agency, please contact that agency before contacting Enbridge Gas. It can take up to three business days for us to process your information once it’s been received from an agency.

To get started with MYA, all you need is your 13-digit Enbridge Gas account number (found on your bill) and a valid email address. MYA allows you to make payments, view bills, analyze energy usage and schedule service orders.
