Important updates for Enbridge Gas North Carolina customers

We’ve updated your online customer experience

Enbridge Gas North Carolina launched a new online account experience. These updates changed how you access your account, view your bill and make payments.

We’ve outlined key changes below, including what to expect and any actions you may need to take.

Helpful tips and tricks

Having trouble accessing your account or making a payment? Review the tips below to help resolve common issues.

User ID and password

If this is your first time signing in since August 10, you will be required to reset your password. This is a one-time process.
User IDs and passwords are case sensitive. Please ensure you enter them exactly as provided, including any uppercase and lowercase letters.

Enbridge Security Policy

If you receive a "Your request has been interrupted via Enbridge Security Policy" message, please copy the Transaction ID exactly as it appears. Visit the Contact Us page, paste the Transaction ID into the message field, and submit the form with your details. Our team will investigate the issue and follow up as needed.

Mobile app

The Dominion Energy mobile app will no longer be available for North Carolina customers.
Visit My Account to access your account anytime through our website using your phone, tablet, or computer.

You may need to update your payment information

If you pay through online banking, mail a check or use an authorized payment location, please update the payee information:

Online account access and login changes

Your online account experience changed after the transition.

What changed

Account numbers have changed as part of the system migration.
The Dominion Energy mobile app is no longer available for Enbridge Gas North Carolina customers.

What this means for you

You can now access your account through our new online portal.
Watch this video to learn how to access your new account number, reset your password and confirm your My Account settings.
Your User ID is case sensitive.
Your temporary password is also case sensitive and must be entered exactly as provided.

Re-registering your online account

If you received an email indicating that you need to re-register your online account, you will need visit the My Account page. Follow the instructions that are outlined in the email to re-register.

Payments, AutoPay and bank‑related changes

For information on all our payment options, please visit Pay my bill page or Business billing options page for business customers.

Automatic monthly payment via your bank (AutoPay)

AutoPay customers can no longer choose their payment withdrawal date. The payment date will be the due date shown on your bill.

Recurring Payment via ACI

We have transitioned to a new payment processing vendor, ACI. If you were enrolled in recurring payments prior to August 10, you were unenrolled from this service prior. You may now re-enroll in recurring payments through My Account with ACI.

You'll need to re-establish your automatic card payments prior to the due date on your next bill. Or, you can pay your bill using a different method. Log into My Account to set up your payment information.
Supported payment methods will include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, and newer options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo.

Pay Directly from your bank

Our banking information has changed. If you pay by ACH from your business bank account, accounting software, or a third-party payment vendor*, please update our payment information before your next payment or your payment may be rejected. If you are registered for EDI billing and pay through that same provider, no action is required.

We’ve updated your bill

Your usage details, meter information, charges, credits and bill calculations will stay the same.
Your information will be presented in an updated layout and design.
