It’s an exciting time for all of us as we welcome Dominion Energy North Carolina Gas, which will now do business locally as Enbridge Gas North Carolina.

In September 2023, Enbridge Inc. announced a plan to purchase three U.S.-based natural gas utilities, which collectively provide natural gas service to approximately three million customers in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Ohio, and North Carolina. (We also serve almost four million customers in Ontario.)

With North Carolina joining us, tomorrow is on!

Expanding the Enbridge Gas utility business to include North Carolina allows us to leverage the strengths of each company to continue to deliver the energy our customers need and want.

Enbridge Gas North Carolina serves about 650,000 customers in 28 counties in North Carolina, from Asheville to Gastonia to Raleigh.

I want to assure all North Carolina customers that we share an unbreakable commitment to the safe delivery of reliable, affordable natural gas to residents and businesses across all our utilities.

Some changes will occur over time – such as the logos on buildings, employee uniforms and ID badges, service vehicles and customer bills – but we’ll be sure to provide plenty of advance notice and information about all planned changes.

Our goal is to make the transition as easy and seamless as possible for customers in this great state as we move into the energy future together.
